As the spokesperson and de facto leader of the Volturi, Aro is cunning and dangerous, but Sheen says he's also "a bit like a concerned grandfather at times with Edward." His voice is light and feathery, sort of like a sigh. "I've tried to go down that route, make him quite mesmerizing, that his voice is quite gentle and soft and yet there's something kind of unhinged about him."

Special ability: By touching a person, he can read every thought the person has ever had while Edward can read only actual thoughts but without touching a person.
